Christmas starts here

All right, it may seem a tad early for festivities, but after a fabulous day at Balfron today, I'm full of festive cheer.
First, and most importantly, today's Pre-Christmas Cracker at the McLintock Hall was an excellent fundraiser for the Friends of Strathcarron Hospice, with pitch fees from the many stallholders and entry fees from even more visitors going to this most worthy charity.
On top of that, Fablet's head chef, salesman, marketing manager and bag-packager (ie me) met lots of extremely nice people, all of whom had very nice things to say about the sweets on offer.
White Chocolate &d Macadamia was an early leader in both sales and taste tests (free samples were, of course, available all day), but Classic Vanilla and Irish Cream soon caught up.
I was particularly pleased to see our Chilli Chocolate and Strawberries & Cream going down so well. I think both of these flavours are more than a bit special, so it was good to see so many faces switch from mild suspicion to delight as soon as those samples popped into their mouths.
It was a busy day, and I was on my feet for pretty much all of it, but it was well worth it.
